The Broncos have yet to solidify a No. 3 option in the passing game. Do they need to? — The Denver Post

Bennie Fowler doesn’t have to ponder the question long. The answer spills out instinctively. His favorite part of playing in a Mike McCoy offense? That’s an easy one. “A lot of passing,” said Fowler, the Broncos’ third-year receiver from Michigan State. “A lot of three-receiver sets. Everybody gets the chance to move inside and out.…

Broncos Country: It’s Time To Get Excited About Trevor.

With all the QB drama we’ve had lately: Siemian vs lynch, Sloter – the preseason MVP, Lynch’s shoulder injury and now the return of Brock. I just want to remind everyone what we have with Trevor.

In 2015 he was drafted in the 7th round out of Northwestern. As a rookie he had a solid camp and makes the 53 man roster as the 3rd string QB behind Peyton and Brock.

In 2016 Trevor takes the reins as starting QB of the Denver Broncos. By beating rookie and first round pick, Paxton Lynch, along with veteran QB, Mark Sanchez.

As a first year starter he has a solid season. Passing for 3400 yards, 18 TD’s and 10 ints. He also finished with impressive wins that really showcased his poise and potential.

What I see in Trevor is a – calm, cool, decisive character. All traits of the great ones. He has a silent confidence. A smirk with subtle swag, that says, “I know I’m good and could be great”.

Its time to prove all his doubters wrong. And it’s time for us to be excited about Trevor.
