The Colorado Rockies have stunned the baseball world with their impressive 13-6 start to the 2017 season. Collectively, the Rockies have played well in every aspect from the get-go. The Rockies have already managed to beat aces Clayton Kershaw, Madison Bumgarner and Johnny Cueto this year, along with owning series victories over each player’s respective club.…

2017 NFL Scouting Report: Scouting Western Kentucky Guard, Forrest Lamp — Mile High Report – All Posts

Hey may or may not be a tackle, but Lamp is the top offensive lineman in this year’s draft. One prospect who the Denver Broncos have been showing interest in and may consider during the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft is former Western Kentucky offensive lineman Forrest Lamp. He’s a 6’4″, 309lb offensive…

Denver Broncos 7 round mock draft:

Here’s a “no surprises” mock. I’ve selected a player for every pick Denver owns that id like to see on the team. So without further ado- In the 2017 NFL draft the Denver Broncos select….

Round 1 Pick 20: The Denver Broncos select OT Ryan Ramczyk, Wisconsin.
With the lack of tackles in free agency Elway fills the need in the draft. The Wisconsin Badger is the safest bet to be an immediate and quality starter at the position in this draft.

Round 2 Pick 51: The Denver Broncos select CB Cordrea Tankersley, Clemson.
The Broncos take advantage of the DB depth in this years draft class. This selection keeps the “No Fly Zone” stocked with talent and addresses recent and future free agent departures.

Round 3 Pick 82: The Denver Broncos select DT/DE Carlos Watkins, Clemson.
The first of two selections in the third round, Denver picks Watkins. A lineman that can stuff the run as well as rush the passer. Defending the run was an issue last season and a gifted Watkins will be part of the solution.

Round 3 Pick 101: The Denver Broncos select TE Jeremy Sprinkle, Arkansas.
Denver chooses, Sprinkle, with their second selection in the third round. A TE that’s an outstanding blocker with good hands. He’ll become the most well rounded TE on the roster.

Round 4 Pick 126: The Denver Broncos select WR Artavis Scott, Clemson.
The third Clemson Tiger selected by the Broncos. And why not? They are the champions. Artavis is a play making WR who fits within coach McCoy’s scheme. Plus, he can return punts and kick-offs.

Round 5 Pick 177: The Denver Broncos select LB Ben Gedeon, Michigan.
In the Fifth round Denver selects Gedeon. he’s a highly productive, run stuffing LB with great instincts to man the middle.

Round 6 Pick 203: The Denver Broncos select OG Jordan Morgan, Kutztown.
Denver selects a versatile lineman that can compete at the guard position.

Round 7 Pick 238: The Denver Broncos select OT Sam Tevi, Utah.
Tevi is a good prospect with good feet and the desired measurables to play the position.

Round 7 Pick 252: The Denver Broncos select C Jay Guillermo, Clemson.
Another Clemson Tiger that addressees marginal depth at the position behind Paradis.

Round 7 Pick 253: The Denver Broncos select RB Justin Davis, USC.
Davis is selected for his intriguing combination of size and speed.

This mock draft addresses our glaring need at offensive lineman. It just so happens my draft board dictated a lot of the Clemson tiger selections (I’m not a Clemson Homer). This rounds out this years mock draft.

Go Broncos!

We all know that the Denver Broncos are in need of immediate help at the offensive tackle position.
