DENVER (CBS4) – The Colorado Avalanche have traded veteran Cody McLeod. McLeod, who has played for the Avalanche since 2006, is headed to the Nashville Predators. The team announced the trade of the 32-year-old on Friday morning. The Avalanche get 22-year-old forward Felix Girard in return. Girard has played primarily in the AHL this season.
